Good day, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to The British Tag! I wasn't actually tagged to complete The British Tag, but I'd say that just joining in and giving something a go is very British all on its own. The British Tag is a set of questions to determine just how British you are and I dare say I am rather British. I wonder if my Yorkshire-ness will show through in my answers.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars?
Well, this really depends on whether Gareth is around to make it or not; he makes the best tea. If he's not about I'll have 2-3 cuppas a day, but if he is I could easily have up to 7! I tend not to have sugar, but I sometimes have a half if I feel like I need an energy boost; usually if I have a hangover. I always have a brew in the biggest mug possible.

2. Favourite part of your roast?
I don't think this is a fair question to ask a Brit! It's impossible to choose. I can't pick just one, but my favourite parts are the roast tatties, Yorkshires, honey roasted parsnips, gravy and the meat with English mustard and mint sauce - simply divine! I could live on a Sunday Roast without ever getting bored of it, but only if my dad made it; he makes the best roast dinners.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
Hmm, I have a slight addiction to biscuits and I'm pretty sure if that addiction didn't exist, I'd be several dress sizes smaller than I am. Chocolate digestives will always be the winner for me!

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
I absolutely love going to the garden centre at Christmas time and spending the whole day there in their Winter Wonderlands! I also love fish and chips on the beach and a good spot of Afternoon Tea with huge scones with jam and cream and lots of lovely friends.

5. Cockney Rhyming Slang?
Not quite sure what the question is here, but I'm assuming I'm supposed to say what Cockney Rhyming Slang I know. Apples and pears are obviously stairs and dog and bone is phone. If you're in London you might get asked if you fancy going for a Ruby (Murray), which is a curry. I thought I knew more than that. I probably do, but I'm all out at the moment. I don't Adam and Eve it!

6. Favourite sweet?
I'm more of a chocolate person really, but if you were to put me in an English sweet shop, I'd probably order fudge. If you're going to eat fat stuff, do it right, right? I do love a good bon-bon and I also like fruit pastilles and jazzies!

7. What would your pub be called?
Probably something really English like Red Lion, White Horse or Kings Head.

8. Number 1 British person?
Emma Watson, without a doubt. She's had such an impact on so many lives already and I've got a feeling she's only just warming up. It also helps that she has amazing style, or at least the class to pull off the looks her stylist puts together for her.

9. Favourite shop/restaurant?
I love shopping at Boots for all things beauty and it's great for gifts. John Lewis has everything, although sells some brands that I can't afford. For clothes, I'm a big fan of Miss Selfridge, ASOS, Modcloth, River Island, and independent boutique stores scattered all over the country. When it comes to restaurants, I do love good pub grub. For chains, I love a good Pizza Express or TGI Fridays. When you're on a tight budget, you can't go wrong with a Wetherspoons.

10. What British song pops in your head?
Our House, Common People, Come on Eileen, London's Calling, 74/75, Cosmic Dancer, Town called Malice; I could go on forever.

11. Marmite?
I'm in between. I haven't had it in the past 10 years, so I definitely don't love it, but I don't hate it either.

And that's The British Tag, Toodle Pip!
