Bumble & Bumble | Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Range

Bumble & Bumble is an American Company, established in NYC in 1977 as a hair salon. Now, they have an amazing premium haircare product line and that's where today's post comes in. I recently purchased The Hairdresser's Trio, which is a travel kit containing the Invisible Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and Primer (all 60ml).

Bumble & Bumble | Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Range
The Invisible Oil Range is infused with 6 featherlight oils, claiming to help soften, detangle, de-frizz, tame flyaways, ease styling and protect against breakage, heat-styling and UV. The six oils are Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Safflower Seed Oil and Grapeseed Oil. With all of these oils, it's probably obvious that this range is not for oily hair. This range is best suited to dry, brittle or coarse hair. I thought I'd try this range when I decided to go back brunette as the previous bleached blonde had left my hair quite dry. The range is sulphate free, so great for dry and damaged hair as it is gentler than shampoo with sulphates.

The shampoo is absolutely amazing! It really lathers up and feels great on my hair, leaving it feeling fantastically clean. The conditioner is lovely; however I do feel like I need to use quite a bit. I'm not sure if that's out of habit or because my hair is quite damaged and tangles when it's wet. The smell of these products is unbelievable; I love it. I look like a crazy person in the street pulling my hair in my face just to smell it! I think it smells very similar to the Hollister core fragrance. The Invisible Oil Primer is something new for me because I've never used a primer on my hair before. You apply it to wet hair and then style as usual and it's just in a little spray bottle so easy to spritz on. The primer has greatly reduced drying time for me and given me a much smoother finish. My hair feels really soft to touch and looks healthier too. The primer will probably last me a long time and although I feel I've used quite a lot of the shampoo and conditioner, I still have about half of each bottle left, even after three weeks. That's with me washing my hair 3-4 times a week, so these mini sizes are going to last me about 6-7 weeks and I have long hair and probably overuse my hair products a little, so someone else may get over 2 months out of the minis!

Bumble & Bumble | Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Range
This travel size trio set comes in at £19.50 from Boots. The full size bottles of the Invisible Oil range start at £19, and you're getting more than 3 times as much (in some cases 4 times), so about half a year's worth of product! You'd only need to invest twice a year. If you try the minis, but it's a little bit too expensive for you, pop it on your Christmas list and your Birthday list and there you have it purchased as a gift for you twice a year. If that fails, let me know that you love it and I'll try to include some in my next giveaway.
