Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black

I picked up a copy of Glamour magazine last week and got this lovely Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, worth £12, for free! I have to say, this is one of my new favourite beauty products. I'm a big fan of eyeliners and I have tried a lot of different types, finding Illamasqua's Precision Gel Eyeliner to be my favourite; however, in terms of ease, precision and time this has got to be my new favourite eyeliner. The pen is a lovely sleek design and the nib is the perfect size and shape. I have tried pen eyeliners before and found them to get fluffy and blunt and dry out pretty quickly like a cheap felt tip; however after a week of use, this pens nib is still fully intact, fluff-free and giving a beautifully rich black line.

The pen is so easy to use and you can make your lines as thick or thin as you like without any difficulty. I can guarantee you that this product will not budge all day long! The above picture is of my inner forearm and it took quite a bit of elbow grease with a Garnier facial wipe to remove the pen. I use an eye makeup remover at night and I would suggest you do too if you are going to use this pen. A facial wipe will probably make your eyes quite sore and red by the time you've managed to get it all off. If all else fails, pop a little bit of baby oil on a cotton pad and sweep over the eye - that'll clean it right off.

I absolutely love this product and it is 100% smudge free. I left the pen (in the picture) for about 10 seconds and I could already feel it was dry; I then rubbed my other hand all over the lines, quite hard as I was trying to smudge it, and the above picture is the final result. As you can see, it hasn't smudged even slightly. I love how easy it is to get those precise lines some girls (and guys) can only dream of making. This is perfect for beginners and experienced users of liner alike and if you like a really nice black line that will not fade or smudge all day, I suggest you get this product as soon as possible.

The only thing I would like to analyse a little further is the liquid in the pen itself. I've only been using this liner for a week and I would like to see how long it takes for the depth of colour in the pen to fade or for the nib to start getting fluffy and losing its point. If it can manage at least 4 weeks of daily use, then I think this is completely worth the £12.

Have you tried the skinny liner? How about any other Eyeko products? Share your opinions below!
