Beauty products you can make at home!

Some beauty products can be so expensive and sometimes they just don't quite do what we want them to. There are many different kinds of homemade and natural recipes for beauty products around on the internet, and many can be adapted to suit you. Here is a list of some of the homemade products I like to use.

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon Vitamin E oil

This can be used on your face and body and should last for about 2 months.

If you get hair bleach on your hands and your skin turns white, soak your hands in warm water and baby oil for 5 minutes, massaging the affected areas and your skin should be as good as new.

Use lemon and sugar to even out a fake tan and remove streaky or darker patches.

Use olive oil or baby oil to remove makeup, including waterproof mascara.

1 peach
3 teaspoons honey
2 tablespoons yoghurt

Mix the ingredients together to form a paste. Apply to your face, avoiding the eye area and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

If you can't afford specialist spot treatments or simply can't find one that works, dab Sudocream onto the spot before bed and you should wake up to wonderfully clear skin. I use Sudocream, but toothpaste makes a great alternative.

Pour coffee over brunette hair or mix some granules into your conditioner for a natural colour boost.

Mash 1 banana with 1 tablespoon of honey and leave on your face for 10-15 minutes. This mask should leave your skin feeling beautiful and soft.

Mix mashed up strawberries and baking soda together and wear in a mouth tray for 30 minutes once a week.
